Intro To After Effects
What is After Effects?: Adobe After Effects is a 2.5D animation software used for
animation, visual effects, and motion picture
A distinct method is used by Adobe After Effects to create

Transforming still images (graphic elements and photography) into moving images.
Compositing Layers in Photoshop: Photoshop is essentially a platform for layer
compositing. To make everything organised and
simple to animate in After Effects, every layer needs
to be renamed and arranged appropriately.

Compositing Layers in After Effects: Adobe After Effects is a compositing, motion
graphics, and visual effects software. In essence,
After Effects allows us to import many materials,
including pictures, video, vectors, and more. It is
necessary to arrange and synchronise every layer
element with external software platforms like
Photoshop and Illustrator. After Effects files link to
their media instead of embedding it.

In this exercise, Mr. Fauzi had instructed us to try out Adobe After Effects in
preparation for our final project. Mr. Fauzi had given us the composition below for us to
try and animate.

After watching the tutorial, I started on my own video. To be honest, I had nothing I
wanted to do in specific which definitely hindered the completion of my video for
awhile. But after brainstorming for abit, I had an idea of what I wanted to do, which was
make the shark look like it was getting fended off by the fencer.
