INSTRUCTIONS

Project 1 : Instructable Poster

For our first project, we were tasked to create an infographic poster for one recipe

selected from Pasta Grannies. We have to study our chosen video, break it down and

chunk the preparation and cooking process into an instructable poster. We are to

capture each Grandma's personality and unique dish identity in our poster as part of

the narrative structure.

Requirements:

1. Size Resolution : 1240 x 1750 Pixels or 2048 x 2048 Pixels

2. The infographic should take viewers visually through the information you want

them to learn or know.

3. Based on your infographic the audience should be able to learn through viewing

and interpreting the various graphical information and text.

Part 1 (Idea Development)

As always before starting the project, I looked through the Pasta Grannies Youtube

channel to try and find the perfect video for me. In the end, I chose Mara's tiramisu

recipe.

     Based on my moodboard, I sketched out 2 layouts I want to use for the poster. After that,
     I also sketched out the items used (whisk, bowl, kettle etc) and also the ingredients as
     visual reference so that it will be easier for me to draw out in Procreate.

After seeking feedback from Mr. Shamsul, he had recommended me to make some

changes to my poster.

Things to Change:

- The background is too plain (Should Add Some Texture)

- Border was unnecessary (But Still Works)

- Font for 'Mara's Tiramisu Recipe' should be changed

- Make the ingredients smaller & remove the box

Changes Made:

- Font changed

- Added texture to the background

- Added Mara to the bottom

- Added box to make both making and assembling processes easier to differentiate

Project 2 : Animated Infographic

For our second project, we are to use the assets from the instructable poster in Project

into an 60 seconds animated infographic.

Requirements:

1. Size Resolution : 720p - 1280 x 750 Pixels (H26/mp4)

2. Maximum 60 seconds

3. Published on Youtube and set to unlisted
