Final Project - Stop Motion

Once again, I teamed up with Aidi for the Final Project. We thought of multiple ideas
for the stop motion, but we ended up with wanting to recreate a scene from Jujutsu
Kaisen or just an idea about not smoking (initially).

After receiving feedback on our proposal from Mr. Martin, he had advised us to choose a
another scene that doesn't only have dialogue in it. Aidi and I brainstormed on what we
could do and we ended up with a fighting scene from Jujutsu Kaisen as well.

While we were filming it, we discovered that it was difficult for us to redo the poses as
Aidi made us clay models for this project. Ultimately, we decided to scrap the idea and
just think of something else on the spot.

Eventually, we came up with a simple break up story. (Love's end, Cat's start)

REFLECTIONS

Experience: We had no idea what we were doing most of the time and when we were recording audio for the voice over, we kept laughing. It was a really fun experience in my opinion.

Observations: We spent way too much money on this project, around a total on 50 ringgit and in the end most of the things we bought we didn't even use.

Findings: You must have patience to film a stop motion animation and it takes multiple pictures and shots to get the animation going in the way you want it to. Not only that, you must have good teamwork for it since I paired up with Aidi, the process was way easier as one can hold the camera to take pictures, the other can move the figurine.
